APEDA’s Supportive Engagement with Jai Jungle

We were delighted to host S. Maqbul Ma’am (Assistant Manager, Fresh Fruits & Vegetable Division, EU Market Access, APEDA) along with the Jai Jungle team. The discussion centered on Jai Jungle’s pioneering work with Mahua and Millets and how APEDA can assist in expanding international market access, export readiness, and value-added processing support. Her encouragement is a strong motivation for our tribal women-led enterprise as we prepare to take Jashpur’s forest superfoods to global platforms.

Hon’ble Minister Chirag Paswan Visits Jai Jungle Stall

At SUFALAM 2025, Hon’ble Minister Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, visited the Jai Jungle – JASHPURE stall. On this occasion, Aneshwari Bhagat, Director and tribal woman leader, presented the Jashpure Food Basket, a collection of Mahua and millet-based superfoods handcrafted by the tribal women of Jashpur. The gesture highlighted the strength of women-led innovation, Make in India, and Vocal for Local, showcasing how forest produce can be transformed into healthy, sustainable foods for India and beyond

Secretary, MoFPI Visits Jai Jungle Stall at SUFALAM 2025

The Secretary of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, along with Dr. Harinder Singh Oberoi and Dr. Prasanna Kumar of NIFTEM, visited our stall at SUFALAM 2025. Jai Jungle showcased its pioneering work on Mahua and Millets, highlighting women-led innovation, tribal empowerment, and sustainable superfood processing from Jashpur.

Mahua Tea Presentation

We presented our new product, Mahua Tea, to the Director of NIFTEM and had a full-day discussion and visit to the pilot plants and processing machinery with Dr. Prasanna and other esteemed faculty members. The interactions opened new avenues for research collaborations, value addition, and scaling up Mahua-based innovations, further strengthening our mission to bring this forest superfood to wider markets.
