When COVID-19 struck, Samarth and tribal women developed India’s first Mahua-based hand sanitizer. That moment sparked Jai Jungle—now a registered Farmer Producer Company (FPC), 70% ST women-owned, focused on creating forest-based organic foods and livelihoods for rural women.

Who we are
Jai Jungle is a women-led movement reviving ancient tribal traditions through science and sustainability. Based in the forests of Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, our mission is to bring Mahua — a nutrient-rich, forgotten superfood — into modern homes with purity, purpose, and pride.
We work with 50+ tribal women to ethically harvest and process forest-grown Mahua into wellness-focused products: sweeteners, teas, oils, pain relief balms, and more. Every product supports livelihoods, preserves biodiversity, and strengthens tribal economies.
